QotD: My First Flight

Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?

i don't quite remember this one. it might've been back east or to hawaii or to the bahamas.

I do remember my first train ride, however. It was to back east, and it was inn the middle of winter. I was like 5 or 7 or so, and with my dad, because he preferred traveling by train over plane. Our train got stuck in the middle of nowhere because of heavy snow. So we were stuck there for a couple of days, snowed-in, cold as hell.

We finally made it back east though. And that's always fun, what with the forest and the snow and the rabbits and the wild raspberries. Good stuff. I want to live in the NY countryside, like in a Hollow or something like that, near the Hudson River perhaps....
